When I know friends or family are coming over, I don't suddenly redecorate my house or spend hours trying to make everything look perfect. I straighten up, fluff a few pillows, and almost always change the fragrance in my warmers. One thing I don't do is make every room smell exactly the same. Instead, I like each space to have its own personality. Fresh and cheerful when you first walk in, bright and lively in the kitchen, warm and cozy where everyone gathers. Of course, we can’t forget peace where people rest and clean where you expect it to be clean.
